A short work for the Research Ensemble, Edinburgh, that marks the beginning of a new style of writing.
The work contains several long pauses (18 seconds at one point) and, despite the virtuosic gestures of both instruments, hides a movement towards a calmer, less 'ultra' syle.

This piece was premiered at a Edinburgh Composer's Cooperative concert @ Stockbridge Parish Church on the 30th May, 2008 and played by Alex South (Clt) and Lauryna Sableviciute (Pno).
